ADATA, a memory and storage manufacturer in Taiwan, has released a new microSD card designed for gaming, the XPG microSDXC UHS-I U3 Class 10.
The XPG microSDXC UHS-I is an Application Performance Class 1 (A1) card that is capable of Random read rate minimum of 1500 IOPS and Random write rate minimum of 500 IOPS. It also boasts read speeds of up to 100MB/s and write speeds of up to 85MB/s, and comes in 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB capacities.
That’s fast so it’ll work well with high-performance devices like Android flagship smartphones, portable consoles like the Nintendo Switch, tablets, and VR devices.
Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
